White Xbox One, Employees Only
We’re not huge on the appearance of our consoles here at Gamers Schmamers, first and foremost we care about the damn things working and playing good games, sexiness is a very distant third in our minds. But I’d be lying if I said that, all other things equal, I wouldn’t buy a white Xbox One over a black one. I went to Korea to get a Monster Hunter PSP for pity’s sake, I understand the appeal of a fancy console.
Which is why it’s sad that the obviously best looking version of the Xbox One is for Microsoft employees only. Hey, I get it. You want to reward your employees with a cool thing, exclusive to employees. I approve of that! But why white? White and black are the go to console colors! Now Microsoft is in the position of cutting off one of the most popular console colors to customers, or lying to their employees about the exclusivity of their consoles.
Yet another sign that Microsoft has no clue what the hell it’s doing.
