    Pat, I’m sure you didn’t mean it literally as just looking at Nielsen ratings, but the Nielsen ratings are shit. They still barely take into account DVR watching or online streaming services (and the way they do that is asking people on the survey: “did you watch something on DVR?” and then don’t add those into their full ratings.) If you factored in delayed watching of Community episodes it wouldn’t be a mega-hit, but it would be a no-brainer renewal and not on the fence through this point.

    NBC is possibly the worst studio at embracing new technology (or common sense when it comes to show times) and it shows in their ratings.

    Also, I would be behind a new Mel Gibson mad max 100%. The guy is a total asshole and I’d never endorse his personal beliefs, but he still makes damn enjoyable movies. Get the Gringo was great.
