XCOM on iOS, No IAP
XCOM is coming to iOS. That is good enough news to make me sing a song about rainbow puppies, but IGN spoke with the developers recently and they confirmed that there will be no in app powerups available for XCOM. Meaning that you aren’t going to be nickel and dimed for stupid, one time use powerups. This is exciting because XCOM is a wonderful game on its own, but also might begin to push the iOS market away from ridiculous pricing models where you buy an app then pay for more crap inside of the game.
