How To Ostracize Women From Geek Culture
There’s no such thing as a fake geek girl.
Harris O’Maley, of Dr. Nerd Love fame, made the above stickers as a satirical joke mocking the concept of a fake geek girl. Apparently at a recent convention someone took those stickers and went around slapping them on women’s asses.
Not only is that just hideous levels of sexual abuse, the implication was that these women who paid money to attend a convention were ‘fake geek girls.’ How this man could tell they were fake just by looking at them is beyond me, the little piece of shit sure as hell wasn’t talking to them, but the whole concept is absurd.
You don’t get to decide who is and isn’t a geek. If you try to, then you’re not a geek. Geekdom is about being inclusive of everyone. Get the fuck out of here with your bullshit.
