Slim PS Vita Announced
It seems Sony decided to go ahead and announce a bunch of interesting things before TGS next week, chief among them, as a diehard fan of the Vita, is that a new slim-line model is coming out. When Sony released the slim PSP it introduced a brief golden age of PSP gaming and hope the same holds true (and lasts longer!) for the Vita.
Plus, look at those delicious colors.
This new Vita will be priced at 18,980 yen, set to launch on October 10 in Japan. Hands on reactions should be coming out of TGS next week but in the mean time let’s be excited that the system will be smaller, lighter, have longer battery life and charge via micro-usb. No word on a US release, but the Vita is region free anyway so if worse comes to worse one can import it.
Oh, and the latest PS Vita memory card was announced. 64gb for around $100. Sigh.
