EA Loses Online Passes
Even better news today! EA is getting rid of the absurd ‘online pass‘ program, apparently largely because of ‘customer feedback’. Huzzah for the consumer!
Pessimistic minds might say that’s because EA is going to require all of their games to be online only, but if EA is willing to drop a system they spent millions on there’s no reason to think they won’t do so again.
Long live offline play, long live free online multiplayer!
