Dragon’s Dogma Goes Vita
Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma is coming to the Vita as Dragon’s Dogma Quest. Sadly it isn’t a port of the existing PS3/360 game but a whole new game that sounds sort of like a strategy game. I didn’t get a chance to play the original Dragon’s Dogma but I heard enough things to make me interested.
This Vita version of the game will support 150 different classes, and will not have the action oriented battles of the original but they will be more strategy based. The only thing that worries me about the whole thing is that it will be a free download, with in game purchases for more items/powerups. I really don’t want to see the Vita going the way of the iPhone/Android gaming market. I certainly don’t need a second over priced gaming machine that has a bunch of mediocre games on it.
Dragon’s Dogma Quest is coming out soon in Japan, with no announced US Release.
